She is currently employed at the Anchorage Home for Girls in Beverly. While in college she was treasurer for the Criminal Justice Academy and interned for the Salem Police Department in the detective unit. She is a 1999 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Michael J. Fostor, son of Christopher and Carleen Lemoine of Adams, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English and minor in sociology and history. He plans to pursue a writing and acting career in the Boston area. While at college he was President of the English Society, Poetry and Fiction Editor of Red Skies, the school’s online literacy magazine and had leading roles in the school productions: "The Laramie Project," "A Question of Character" and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” In 2003 he studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. He is a 2000 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School.

His future plans are to begin a clinical work fellowship at Harvard University health services in September. While at Simmons, he was a counseling intern at Arbor HRI Hospital in Brookline, and a staff intern at Tufts University counseling center. He is also a newly elected member of the nominating committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. He received a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a master’s degree in higer education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha-National Poilitical Science Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta-International Honor Society in History and Phi Beta Kappa. Sweet was also captain of his crew team where he was the most valuabe rower in 2002-2003 and on the Student Goverment Association where he was Senator at Large and Vice President for Communicatons in 2004. She will be attending Simmons College in Boston to pursue her master’s degree in library and information science program. While at college she worked as a foster care giver for D.A.R.E Family Services and volunteer at ARISE for social justice. He was also an Inter-Greek Council representative, an American Society of Civil Engineers member and a participant in the student Steel Bridge National Competition for two years. He resides in Atlanta, Ga., where he received a Presidential Management Fellowship to work at the CDC in the International Emergency and Refugee Health Branch. William Ryan Brown, son of William W. and Kathie M. Brown of Pittsfield, graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Brown was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and will attend Officer’s Basic Course at Ft. Leonard, Mo. He will soon after join an active army unit — working alongside the men and women currently fighting the global war on terrorism. While at college, Brown was on the Dean’s List all four years, recieved the Superintendent’s Award for achieving a 3.0 or higher in all aspects of cadet life, and a recipient of the Silver Star. Brown was chosen to be a Company Commander in charge of a unit of 120 cadets his senior year. He was also a Platoon Sergeant and Squad Leader of the Academy. He was a graduate of Airborne School and on the varsity alpine ski team. He is a 2000 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

He was a member of the hockey club his sophomore year and volunteered for Alternative Spring Break his freshman year. Campbell was also President of the University’s College Democrats. He will perform his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Vermont. Hertzig recieved his bachelor's degree in biology from Middlebury College in 1994. Amy V. Duquette, daughter of Bruce and Patricia Duquette of Adams, graduated with a master's degree in art therapy, while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. She is also the granddaughter of Orlando and Ceil Magnifico and Dorothy Duquette, all of Adams. During her internship, she researched and completed her thesis at a day treatment center for adults with chronic mental illness, specifically working with an adult who is mentally ill and deaf. She is currently employed at New York’s Woodhull Medical Center in the adult in-patient psychiatric unit.

She is a transfer student from Berkshire Community College and currently works at the Elizabeth Freeman Center in Pittsfield as a case manager. She has also been an advocate and organizer for the rights of Latina women in Berkshire County.

Green is employed at McCann Techincal High School in North Adams as a chemistry teacher. She will also pursue a master’s degree in secondary education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She was a member of the General Science Club, Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honor Society, Student National Eduacation Association and the National Science Teachers Association. Green was the recipient of the Physical Science Department Award for Academic Excellence in 2004 and a member of the football cheerleading squad. She is a 2000 graduate of Taconic High School.

Chris Vaughan, son of Thomas and Mary Vaughan of Pittsfield, graduated cum luade with a bachelor's degree in economics. His future plans are to work in the business field in Boston. In college he was a board member and involved in the Newman Catholic Association for two years. He was also active in community service programs. He is a 2000 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Nathan B. Winstanley IV., son of Nathan and Kathryn Winstanley of Lenox, graduated with a bachelor's degree in American studies. He is currently working as an assistant accountant executive in New York City. He was a member of the college council and spent his junior year abroad at Oxford University. He is a 2000 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School.

Laura. E. Melanson, daughter of Gail Polidoro of Pittsfield and Michael Melanson of Cary, Ill., graduated with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She was a member of the International Student Union, jazz band, chorus and crew club. She also studied aboard in Spain in the spring of 2003. She is a 2000 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
