However, new figures on income levels were released this spring. These figures were compiled from the 2000 Census and reflect the 1999 household incomes. The median income in Berkshire County was $39,047.
The highest ranking town is Richmond with a median income of $60,917. The lowest ranking city is North Adams with a median income of $27,601.
