Berkshire Community College participates in the national Elderhostel program, offering between 10 and 15 program weeks each year. They are held at the County Inn – Berkshires (formerly Quality Inn), Lenox. More than 500 people from around the country, as well as county residents, attend a week of college-level courses at very reasonable rates. BCC Elderhostel course topics range from literature to economics to history and beyond. Local residents over 55 years of age are invited to attend at reduced commuter rates.

B.I.L.L. is designed for people who enjoy taking challenging and informative adult level courses in anacademic atmosphere. There are spring, fall and winter semesters. Classes are held during the day on the campuses of Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Williams College and the Clark Museum in Williamstown, and Simon's Rock in Great Barrington. Winter classes are held at the Berkshire South Regional Community Center in Great Barrington. Special events include trips to museums, theaters, historic sites, community programs of special interest, and social events. Faculty consists of current and retired faculty of BCC, Williams College and Simons Rock College, as well as community residents and B.I.L.L. members with special expertise. Free course catalogues are available by calling the above number.
