The 16th Annual Road Race at the
North Adams, Mass.
TO BENEFIT:
The classroom programs of the North Adams Transcript – under which the Transcript provides free classroom bundles of the paper, upon request, to any teacher in a northern Berkshire public or private school, grades K-12, together with lesson plans and other assistance when needed.
n DISTANCE: 5 Kilometers — 3.1 miles.

START is at
n DIVISIONS: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
n COURSE: Start at North Adams Library; West on Main Street, Left on State Street (Route 8), South to Old State Street, over Old State Street back to State Street, North on State Street, Right on Main Street, Right on American Legion Drive, Left on Ashland St., North on Ashland to Main Street, Left on Main street, West on Main St. to finish at Greylock Federal Credit Union.
n GOODIES: For the first 200 entrants, free race T-shirt. Refreshments and raffle at conclusion of race.

n AWARDS: Trophies to overall male and female and top 3 men and women in each division (no duplication).

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: Starting
n REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY: Starting 10:30 a.m. in the North Adams Holiday Inn. (Race day Fee $20).

PRE-REGISTRATION: Entry forms may be dropped off or mailed to
the North Adams Transcript,
n AWARDS CEREMONY: Following the race, at the North Adams Holiday Inn.

release and discharge Greylock Federal Credit Union, New England Newspapers,
Inc., the Western Mass Athletic Club, all other sponsors and organizers of the
2004 Greylock Federal’s 5K Fall Classic race, the City of North Adams, and
their representatives, agents, employees, members and assigns from all claims
or other demands arising by any reason from or out of my participation in this
event. I understand and assume all the
risks of running in a road race and certify that I am in good physical condition
and have trained adequately for this 5-kilometer race. I also understand that the race may be
canceled if unsafe conditions exist at race time and that no refunds will be
made. I also grant permission for the
use of my name and/or picture in any broadcast, photograph, web site or other
account of this event.
