The classroom programs of the North Adams Transcript – under
which the Transcript provides free classroom bundles of the paper, upon
request, to any teacher in a northern Berkshire public or private school,
grades K-12, together with lesson plans and other assistance when needed.

5 Kilometers — 3.1 miles.

13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and
over.

COURSE:
Start at North Adams Library; West on Main Street, Left on State Street
(Route 8), South to Old State Street, over Old State Street back to State
Street, North on State Street, Right on Main Street, Right on American Legion
Drive, Left on Ashland St., North on Ashland to Main Street, Left on Main
street, West on Main St. to finish at Greylock Federal Credit Union.

GOODIES:
For the first 200 entrants, free race T-shirt. Refreshments and raffle at conclusion of
race.

COURSE RECORDS: Men — Kent Lemme, Williamstown (15:42, 2003); Women — Claudia Camargo, Argentina
(17:52.1, 2004).

AWARDS:
Trophies to overall male and female and top 3 men and women in each
division (no duplication).
n
PACKET PICKUP, REGISTRATION IN PERSON: At the
North Adams Transcript, 124 American Legion Drive, North Adams, Friday, Sept.
30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: Starting 10:30 a.m. in the North Adams Holiday Inn.
n
REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY: Starting 10:30 a.m. in the North Adams
Holiday Inn. (Race day Fee $20).
n
PRE-REGISTRATION: Entry forms may be dropped off or mailed to
the North Adams Transcript, 124 American Legion Drive,
North Adams, MA 01247. Forms must be received by the Transcript by
Friday, October 1, or you may pre-register in person during packet pickup times
on Friday, or prior to the start on race day (see above).

AWARDS CEREMONY:
Following the race, at the North Adams Holiday Inn.

2005 Greylock Federal’s 5K Fall Classic race, the City of North Adams, and their

other demands arising by any reason from or out of my participation in this
event. I understand and assume all the
risks of running in a road race and certify that I am in good physical
condition and have trained adequately for this 5-kilometer race. I also understand that the race may be
canceled if unsafe conditions exist at race time and that no refunds will be

account of this event.
