Housatonic Valley Association A guided canoe/kayak exploration of the East Branch headwaters of the Housatonic will be led by Dennis Regan and naturalist Charles Smith. Meet at Bullard's Crossing in Hinsdale, Mass., at 9 a.m. for a five-hour trip. Access to the site is from East Washington Rd. It's a very strenuous trip due to beaver dam crossings.
